MS 150 Bike ride June 27-28

We camped outside of Fort Collins between Rides.

These Jerseys were provided by team Kuni Honda which we rode for thanks to Lana's connections. The Jersey had back pockets which we would fill with Vanilla wafers, oreos, chocolate chip cookies, honey sticks and anything else to give us calories to burn.

One of to many mountain climbs.
Through most of the journey we were blessed with views of snow peak mountain views.

Phil, Lana and myself along with 4,000 other riders, volunteers and sponsors took part in this years ride, to raise money for MS.

I forgot the camera the first day of the ride but this is the start of the second day. The MS 150 is a 150 mile bike ride in 2 days. That raises money for Multiple Sclerosis. It starts at Front Range Community college in Westminster, Co and Finished AT CSU in Fort Collins, CO. 75 Miles up & 75 Miles back the next day.

St.Mary's Glacier, CO June 21St

At least I get to Board down.
The Gear.

Views along the way nothing short of amazing.
This is what I hiked up maybe 3/4 quarter to 1 mile. Elevation about 11,000 feet so It is slow moving.

Once I hit the snow it was time to switch gear.
The Lake at St. Marys Glacier and the snowfield above provides for year round Snowboarding.

The Hike up to the Lake and year round snow field is only 3/4 of a mile. On this day though I had my snowboard, snowshoes.

Mountain Biking Green Mountain Trail June something

Red Rocks Amphitheatre from the trail.
I will try to get this on a clearer day.

It was worth the climb for the views. Again the pics do not do justice.

This is one of the harder sections. I would have rather been going down it but unfortunately had to go up it.

The Green mountain Trail in the Hayden open space area is a 6 something mile loop over single track. You can also hike it.
My toy of choice for this journey.

Rise Against and Rancid at Red Rocks

Rise Against was the Headliner and they were awesome. It is interesting to see the evolution of Punk Hardcore era and how big it has become. Red Rocks can hold 9,450 people my guess there was over 7,000 at this show.

Rancid
The Riverboat Gamblers opened the show and Rancid followed both are pics from Rancids set.
This picture does not due justice but there is a great view of the city lights of Denver.

Red Rocks is a great place to see a show due to these massive rock formations the sound is awesome.
June 11Th we hit up Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Lana and Phil to see Rancid and Rise Against.

Coors Brewery

Coors brewery established in 1873. The Beer here is all about the Rocky Mountain water. So is what they say.

We did not want to pay for this picture so we took a picture of the picture. I think it turned out pretty good.

Large kettles were the beer is brewed.

The Truck is a picture of a picture hanging at the brewery.

My Mom and Keith were out so we took them on the Coors brewery tour .This tour is free and you get up to three glasses of Beer at the end that was brewed and kegged and brought right up to the Bar.
