Loading up the gear for the ride back to the airport. Thanks guys for another amazing adventure.
Jerry and his ramp.
Saturday morning guys need to be to airport at 1:45pm= more skating. We started at the Broomfield park and ended our adventure at Jerry's backyard ramp. The perfect end to a wonderful trip. These pics do not do ramp justice. It only shows half the ramp. The sickest backyard ramp I have ridden. Jerry is also from out in Lisa and my neck of the woods. He also moved to Colorado and lives in the same town as Lisa and I. Small world.
City hall from the State Capital building steps.
City hall group shot from the Capital building. See Brett's blog for behind the scene footage of the group shot. Much preparation is put into a professional shot like these.
Pic from Wolfe's website.
Off to Wolfe's for some veggie barbecue. Pic by Brett. Thanks for the tip Matt. I wish we would have discovered this place long ago. The owner and only employee of this establishment is retiring. The day for business is Christmas day. He was there for 25 years.
1 more park. Greenwood village it was a little dark. Have to drop to log it; a little trickier then you would think when you can not see.
off to Parker. Everyone was to busy skating so we did not get any pics. Supper fun park.
Next park Roxborough, CO. First 2 parks we had all to ourselves.
Friday we traveled back to Denver for a skate day. The first park was near our house in Arvada.
Itchy Trigger finger, way early on this shot.
Next stop Keystone, Colorado Board storage back at the condo in the tub.

Wednesday morning took some wildlife photos for National geo. hit the road for Loveland Pass.
We arrives in Glenwood Springs after dark but were determined to visit Doc Holiday's resting place. So we hiked half a mile up the snow and ice crusted trail up the side of the cliff to the cemetery were he is buried. We got back on the rode and drove the rest of the way to Breckenridge. We arrived about 10pm about sixteen hours in and out of the car but definitely action packed.

Due to time we only drove a few miles through Colorado National Monument State Park but we maximized our time there.

After our mini session we headed to Crested Butte eventually got checked in and hit the mountain. We rode for several hours. Matt, Brett, Lisa and I then checked out the Crested Butte skate park. Unfortunately all covered in snow not a single obstacle ride able. Caught a little sunset. We got back to Grand Lodge hit the Hot tub heated pool, then dinner. Crested Butte Day Landscape Pics by Matt.
We woke up early Sunday, gabbed some Continental breakfast and grabbed some supplies from WalMart. Including 2 cookie sheets to deflect the heat of the exhaust from the bags and cooler. Problem solved. We then found the infamous heart bowl of Gunnison and had a little session. A little snow changed the lines a bit. Heart Bowl pics by Matt.
After a six hour drive we arrived at Super 8 in Gunnison. We did discover one small problem with our cargo carrier plan, the exhaust heats it up and melted Matt's cloths bag and melted part of his snowboard boot. We had to pull it apart cause the boot and bag were melted together. Both the boot and bag were still fully usable. After that small scare we grabbed some food from Silvestre's Mexican restaurant and hit up a skate park at a college in Gunnison.
Although it was dark we had to hit the Fairplay, Co skate park. to bad the bowl was half filled with snow. We still found plenty to ride.
By the time we got back to the house and got packed up it was about 3pm we headed toward Gunnison, Co. This little bank is 50 ft from my garage but I have yet to skate it, Matt and Brett let no spot go unridden. This was my first experience with a hitch and cargo carrier so we put the carrier in the hitch about 2" matched the holes and put in the pin. The load seemed way to low this way so we took out the pin and stuck the carrier in all the way much better but no holes for the pin. Plan B. Brian and I tied it up real good, problem solved.
